Sit, stand, chat, dance, drink and eat in the company of some our favourite local selectors and the dappled courtyard sun. Featuring Jefferson, Warren H, Megan, Pandi, Mu Mu and the Chess Clubb DJs from 2pm. All welcome - do come!

LOWER POWER - MARCO FUSINATO

A must-see exhibition and performance from post-conceptual artist and experimental musician Marco Fusinato.

Lower Power, presented in association with Perth Festival and curated by PICA Senior Curator Eugenio Viola, features new works from Melbourne based Marco Fusinato’s Infinitives series. These are a selection of images sourced from the international mass media over the last ten years in which a protagonist is brandishing a rock in the decisive moment of a riot.

Each of the sourced images is enlarged to history-painting scale using the latest commercial print technologies. Fusinato is a post-conceptual artist and an experimental musician, who employs a multidisciplinary approach in his practice, crossing through a variety of mediums and genres.

To coincide with the exhibition, Fusinato will present for the first time in Western Australia Spectral Arrows, an improvised durational performance for guitar and mass amplification on Sunday 10 February 2019 (5pm – 8pm).

February 9 - April 21.

WISE CHILD WINE STORE x SWAN VALLEY WINES

The wine's brilliant, the people behind it better. James, Lucy (and Kit) from Wise Child Wine store launched their first collaborative drop last week, pairing up with Paul Hoffman of Swan Valley Wines for a shit-hot staple white for summer.
Lemon balm, white flowers, and all the charming aromatics we've come to know and love from a Swan Valley Chenin are sitting pretty at the front, while the Sémillon lends a tell-tale whisper of straw to the mix.
Wank words aside, it's also easily one of the best looking things we've seen under a crown seal thanks to a handsome branding job by Nude Design studio. Nice one Sonja.
